Funding Advice Service

The RVA funding advice service supports voluntary and community groups based in or working in Ryedale District and Scarborough Borough. 

 

(The service is funded by the North Yorkshire and York NHS and the Big Lottery Fund).

 

The advice and support given to voluntary and community groups includes:

 

·        helping an organisation identify its funding requirements

 

·        identifying possible sources of funding

 

·        explaining how to prepare applications

 

·        discussing your funding strategy

 

·        commenting on and helping with draft applications.

The RVA Funding Advisors are members of the York and North Yorkshire Funding Advice Network. 

 

The Funding Advice Network is made up from Funding Advisers employed by Local Infrastructure Organisations (LIOs), as well as staff and representatives from the City of York Council, North Yorkshire County Council, and Local Authorities throughout North Yorkshire.
