Support for your Group

RVA exists to help the many varied voluntary and community groups in Ryedale.  These include charities, self help groups, and any group which is led by volunteers or by the community.   

We provide the following services:

Information  

• providing up to date news and good practice through newsletters, e-bulletins and our website.   If you would like to join our free e-bulletin service, please send an email to our administrator, Sarah Richardson, sarah@rva-cvs.org.uk and include your full name, postal address, name of voluntary and community group and your email address.  You can unsubscribe from the service at any time.

Representation

• RVA attends partnership and strategic meetings to ensure that your views and issues are raised.

Governance and Charity Law

• support with constitutions, governing document, becoming a charity and keeping up with charity law.

Funding Advice

• funding searches, advice, support with applications and developing a funding strategy.

Financial Services

• payroll provision, financial management, producing accounts and other accounting services.

Volunteering 

• become a volunteer, search for voluntary opportunities, finding and recruiting volunteers for voluntary and community groups.

Engagement and Consultation 

• organising forums, facilitating consultations, hosting community projects. 

Training 

• organising and advertising training in Ryedale.

Support Services

• meeting space, photocopying, binding documents, laminating.
